Top 5 tips for cost-effective home energy usage reduction?

Hi there! With the current global situation, I (and I´m sure many more) am wondering how to cost-effectively mitigate my suceptibility to hiking energy prices. How can I go about this? While I guess the basic answer would be “use less stuff”, was wondering how everyone else is approaching this. Thanks!

According to the EIA, more than half of energy used in homes goes towards heating and air conditioning!

Stop to think about that for a moment, let it sink in.

We actually published an article called top 10 Off-grid heating methods which may be of use.

According to a report by NEEP (Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships), heat pumps can save you $459 a year compared to conventional electric heaters.

I recommend to check one out!
